This work consists of: • Demolition of the existing foundation wall as minimally necessary to provide access to the crawl space for concrete pouring of the pads, as specified in the construction documents (CD), Sheet S1.0 Framing Plan. • Addition of concrete pads and 6” x 6” columns as specified in the CD, Sheet S1.0 Framing Plan. • Addition of LVL beams as specified in the CD, Sheet S1.0 Framing Plan. • Repair of any foundation wall removed for crawl space access. • Removal and proper disposal of all trash and debris associated with the project. • Electrical is available on site. • Contractor will obtain all required permits. • Building will be closed to the public during construction and construction scheduling will need to be communicated with staff. • This building is full of valuable artifacts and they will need to be protected throughout the building, and for the duration of the project.
