7.46 mi of hot mix asphalt reconstruction and shoulder widening for flex route, construction of crash sites, interchange reconfigurations, cold milling and resurfacing, bridge replacement and bridge rehabilitation of 9 structures including temporary widening, epoxy overlay, substructure and railing patching, concrete surface coating, steel structure coating cleaning and coating and heat straightening, retaining wall, sound wall, ITS equipment, drainage, signing, lighting and pavement markings on US-23 from south of M-36 to Spencer Road, Livingston County. This project includes three 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranties, a 2 year performance warranty for the concrete surface coating and a 5 year pavement performance warranty for the thin epoxy polymer bridge deck overlay.
