Refuse Removal for the Montgomery Township Board of Education The Montgomery Township Board of Education assumes no responsibility for bids mailed incorrectly or misdirected in delivery. Bidders shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, over $2,000.00 but not in excess of $20,000, payable to the Montgomery Township Board of Education. Each bidder is required to submit with its bid a Consent of Surety certificate with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company licensed and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the owner stating that it will provide said bidder with a Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. Bidders are required to comply with the Affirmative Action requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. If applicable the bidders are required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Law as required under Chapter 150 of the laws of 1963, State of New Jersey. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq., pertaining to the "Public School Contracts Law".
