Corona del Mar Phase II - Lateral Connections. The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, permits and their associated costs for both the installation of the sewer laterals and the abandonment and decommissioning of the existing septic tanks, temporary easements, and equipment necessary to furnish 130 connections for private properties to an existing sewage gravity main; abandonment and decommissioning of each existing septic tank associated with each private property; replacement of any sod, sidewalk, pavement damaged during construction; site restoration; and other appurtenant and miscellaneous items for a complete, satisfactory and functional installation. It is the intent of the City to obtain a complete and working installation under this Project and any items of labor, equipment or materials which may reasonably be assumed as necessary to accomplish this end shall be supplied whether or not they are specifically shown on the Plans or stated herein. The Bidder is hereby notified that this project is being partially funded through AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) and is subject to all the requirements pertaining to. Performance is subject to the applicable provisions of 2 CFR Part 200, entitled "Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards" including the cost principles and restrictions on general provisions for selected items of cost. A copy of the Bid security must accompany the Bid submitted electronically through the Bidsync.com submission system. The Bid security (original document) must be received by the Procurement Management Department, at 17011 NE 19th Avenue, Suite #305, North Miami Beach, Florida 33162, within 72 hours of the Bid response due date. Bid securities not received within 72 hours by the Procurement Management Department may render the Bid non-responsive. Bid security must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or surety bond payable to the City of North Miami Beach, Florida. Return of the Bid security submitted by the awarded Bidder is conditioned upon the awarded Bidder submitting the specified performance and payment bond within (10) days of notice by the City. Failure or refusal of the awarded Bidder to submit a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated will result in the forfeiture of the Bid security. All other Bid securities will be returned after the Agreement is executed, unless returned earlier, at the City's discretion.
