Replacement of Automactic Transfer Switches

To replace Automatic Transfer Switches (one each from Motor Control Center 1, 2, 3 & 4) to meet the power plants operations, maintenance, and safety requirements. USIBWC requests that the Contractor provide pricing for the items listed below. 1. The Contractor shall replace and install two (2) Automatic Transfer Switches for MCC3 and MCC4. a. Two (2) 400A/480V/3Phase service entrance rating and dead front cover Utility to Utility Automatic Transfer Switch with Molded Breakers and with Over-Current Protection in existing Siemens Allis MCC 3&4, MARQ 21 Cabinet Section (DWH) 20” 20” 90”. b. New transfer switches shall be equal or equivalent to an EATON (ATC-900 Breaker Base Transfer Switch) or similar model subject to the approval of USIBWC. 2. The Contractor shall replace and install one (1) Automatic Transfer Switch for MCC1. a. One (1) 225A/480V/3Phase service entrance rating and dead front cover Utility to Utility Automatic Transfer Switch with Molded Breakers and with Over-Current Protection in existing Siemens Allis MCC 1, MARQ 21 Cabinet Section (DWH) 20” 20” 90”. b. New transfer switch shall be equal or equivalent to an EATON (ATC-900 Breaker Base Transfer Switch) or similar model subject to the approval of USIBWC. 3. The Contractor shall replace and install one (1) Automatic Transfer Switch for MCC2.
