Description | Project involves the renovation of an existing building (the former Bryant & Stratton School) into a neurological rehab facility and a hematology lab. This project was bid in September of 2022. Due to the extended period of time that has elapsed between then and now, due to lease execution delays by tenant (Upstate), the project is being re-priced. Parsons-McKenna Construction Co., Inc is the Construction Manager for the project. There have been a few "value-engineering" changes that have been made. Most of the changes involve the cabinetry, soffits above the cabinetry, aluminum framed, glass dividers at the reception areas, and the lockers. Please review the drawings and reflect the changes in your revised quotes. Work includes site work, site concrete, gates at existing dumpster enclosure, asphalt patch & striping, brick pavers. concrete sidewalk replacement, select demolition, concrete piers, concrete sign base, concrete slab in-fill, masonry at sign base, cultured stone, structural and miscellaneous steel, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, cabinets, Plam and SS counters, SS sills, roof penetrations & patch, metal wall panels at sign, doors & hardware, HM window frames, aluminum storefront doors & windows, glass & glazing, gypsum systems, ACT, FRP, resilient flooring, porcelain tile, rubber flooring, walk-off mat, painting, wall protection, corner guards, bathroom accessories, lockers, fire extinguishers/cabinets, cubicle curtain tracks & curtains, specimen pass thru-door, Mapes canopy, roller window shades, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical. Alternate #1: Provide a separate cost for work done in the east and west common corridors. This labeled as "Landlord Work" Plans. STANDARD WAGE RATES APPLY. (NO PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS) Specifications are listed on the drawings. Except for the door hardware. That spec has been uploaded to the site. INCLUDE NYS Sales Tax on Materials. As of March 27,2023, addendum #2 has been issued. Removal of plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical equipment, ductwork, piping, and fixtures is by the MEP trades. There is a site visit scheduled for 8:00 AM on Wednesday, March 22nd. Work is scheduled to start mid-May 2023. Work to be complete by December 2023.
