Purchase and Pick Up of 6-Sack and 7-Sack Concrete Ready Mix With Ash

Houston Public Works (HPW) is requesting bids for the purchase and pick up of 6-sack and 7-sack concrete ready mix with ash All prospective bidders are encouraged to contact the buyer, David Yee at david.yee@houstontx.gov for any questions regarding this solicitation. The specifications herein state the minimum requirements of the City of Houston. All bids must be regular in every respect. Unauthorized conditions, limitations, or provisions shall be cause for rejection. The CITY may consider as "irregular" or "non-responsive", any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the bid documents and specification, or any bid lacking sufficient technical literature to enable the City of Houston to make a reasonable determination of compliance to the specification. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to carefully examine each item of the specification, failure to offer a completed bid or failure to respond to each section of the technical specification (exception yes or no) will cause the proposal to be rejected without review as "non-responsive". All variances, exceptions, and/or deviations shall be fully described in the appropriate section; deceit in responding to the specification will be cause for rejection. The Contractor shall be required to provide all labor, equipment, facilities, materials parts, tools, supervision and transportation necessary to allow for the purchase and pick up of 6-sack and 7-sack concrete ready mix with ash. Award may be based on the lowest price, delivery date or best value to the City of Houston.
