Description

The proposed project will involve the removal of the existing manifold and concrete encasement and the construction of a new manifold and concrete encasement. Removed material will be hauled to a District Material Site, 9 miles away. There will be (3) 24" flow meters and (1) 18" flow meter added into the new manifold. The District will provide the (3) 24" flow meters, and the contractor shall provide the 18" flow meter. The new manifold will connect to the existing pump discharges with 24" compression couplers and connect to an existing 48" RCP pipeline with a 48" x 58" compression coupler. A new concrete encasement will be poured around the new manifold. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the additional bonds prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
