Description | Division 1 - Storm sewer collection system: Div 1 includes installation of a new storm water collection system to separate the storm water from the combined sanitary sewer within the project area. Work is divided into nine segments labeled ST-A through ST-I in alphabetical order and includes installation of approximately 7,029 LF of 12 IN to 24 IN storm sewers, 34-48 IN to 72 IN manholes, storm inlets, infiltration basins, jack and bore, pavement repair, traffic signal repair, erosion control, restoration. Division 2 - Subsurface Detention Basis: includes construction of an approximately 1.85 MG subsurface storm water detention basin at the site of the former Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Work includes deep excavation, geotextile reinforced foundation, pre-cast concrete vault storage chambers, HDPE storage chambers, debris/sediment screen structures, observation/entrance manholes, permanent dewatering pump station, water feature pump, outlet control structures, erosion control, restoration. Division 3 - Park Features, construct a new Trinity Storm Water Park above the detention basin. Work includes masonry swales, masonry seat walls, masonry retaining walls, SST Scupper water feature, stained glass window kiosk, swing canopy, interpretative signs, concrete paving, concrete curbing, pavers, trash receptacles, bench swing, lighting, electrical, restoration. Division 4 - Water Main Replacement - work includes replacement of water mains within the storm sewer collection area. Work is divided into nine segments labeled W-A through W-I in alphabetical order. Segment W-A corresponds to Segment ST-A, Segment W-B corresponds to Segment ST-B and son on. Work includes approximately 6,770 LF of 6 IN to 20 IN water min installation, valves, fittings, hydrants, service relocation, main abandonment, concrete curb & sidewalk repair, pavement restoration, site restoration. |
