Description | Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to re-roof State Owned Housing (SOH) R-41 and other miscellaneous work. Location of Services: Nimbus Fish Hatchery, 2001 Nimbus Road, Sacramento County, CA License Required: A or B or C-39 Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a copy of your certification must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for projects greater than $25,000.00. Failure to register with DIR or list sub-contractors not registered will render your bid non-responsive. Construction shall be completed within THIRTY (30) WORKING DAYS upon CDFW Approval, following the official Notice of Start Date from the State to the Contractor to commence construction. Notice of Intent to Award July 29, 2022 When the Contract Sum exceeds twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000), Contractor shall furnish, in duplicate, a Payment Bond, to accompany the Contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum securing payment for laborers, mechanics, and materials suppliers used on the Work under the Contract. Payment Bonds shall be prepared on a Payment Bond to Accompany Construction Contract (STD 807) as furnished by State. (PCC 7103) B. When the Contract Sum exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000), Contractor shall furnish, in duplicate, a Performance Bond, to accompany the Contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum guaranteeing faithful performance of the Work. Performance Bonds shall be prepared on Performance Bond (FG-188) as furnished by the State.
