Lake Alto South 2019 Timber Sale

Lake Alto South 2019 Timber Sale for the benefit of the Parks Department on an as needed basis. The Lake Alto South 2019 Timber Sale is a marked thinning of approximately 54 acres of 1989 planted slash pine on the Lake Alto Preserve, South tract, Alachua County, Florida. This sale consists of a marked thinning of mature and previously thinned (2010) planted slash pine (see Attachment Timber to be removed includes all trees marked with either orange or red paint, logging decks and associated skid trails. This sale includes the following product classes: Pine Pulpwood, Pine Chip-N-Saw, and Pine Sawtimber. A per ton price for each product class is required from the Respondent. Estimated volumes include 285 tons of Pine Pulpwood, 532 tons o f Pine Chip-N-Saw and 687 tons of Pine Sawtimber. Sale boundaries are marked by either a preserve boundary, road or blue paint. Additional timber within the sale area may be designated for removal by the County Project Manager during the harvest.
