Description

The site of the work is the Ravines Open Space, west of Dunstan Middle School, in Lakewood, Colorado. The bridge, carrying the District’s sewer main, across the main ravine has experienced erosion around and under the east abutment. In order to protect its sewer, the District would like to address and repair the undercutting of the abutment. The work generally consists of designing and constructing geotechnical repairs to stabilize and prevent further erosion of the slope under and adjacent to the abutment.
