Description

A new trail project will extend the Ohio River Greenway along the shoreline parallel to Floyd Street. The trail will begin near the existing skate park facility and end at the River Recreation Site (approximately 500-feet northeast of W. 10th Street). Besides the 12-foot-wide asphalt trail along the shoreline, work will also include a 6-foot-wide concrete walk with limestone blocks providing pedestrian access to a 6-foot-wide asphalt path along the top of the levee. Pedestrian nodes, a picnic area, site furnishings, trees, landscaping, lighting, and limited roadwork will also be included.
