J041-- Install Mini Splits Bldg 3 2nd Floor (Va-21-00044119)

Contractor shall provide adequate cooling for BLDG 3- 2nd floor rooms: 211, 219, 220, 203, 204, 206 and 210. AC sizes have not been determined; field verification of equipment size is required. Work includes furnishing and installing new Dakin or equivalent wall mounted AC splits to be controlled by wired thermostat. Systems should be cooling only with low ambient wind baffles. Work shall also include installation of new refrigerant and condensate piping, coring holes in exterior wall for piping and conduit. All holes should be sealed upon completion of work. Condensate drains on the exterior will be PVC. Install PVC covers over vertical line sets on the exterior of the building to conceal the refrigerant piping for each unit. Install communication wiring between the condensing units and the interior units. Tie-in the system to the refrigerant piping and charge with refrigerant. Start-Up the newly installed system to verify correct functionally. Clean up job site and provide all O&M documentation to the COR.
