Description

Project Location: Bridge 602 is located on Smith Valley Road over the LIRC railroad. Located 2,400 feet east of US 31 in Greenwood, IN. Full replacement of the existing bridge. It will be expanded from 2 lanes to a 4 lane section with integrated pedestrian crossing on the north side. A single span with prestressed concrete hybrid bulb-tee beams will be used. New approach slabs and MSE walls will be constructed. Construction will be phased to allow motorists to continue crossing the railroad during construction. Letting is scheduled 7/14/21. INDOT profit calculation worksheet will be utilized.
