Description

The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award. Minority/ Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. It is the goal of MDOT SHA that Disadvantaged and/or Minority Business Enterprises participate in all Federal Aid and State contracts, as applicable. Each contract will contain a specific participation goal. County: Baltimore Classification: G ($10,000,001 to $15,000,000) Funding: Federal F.A.P. Number: AC-STBG-NHPP-000B(689)E This project, located in Baltimore County, is for Patching, Crack sealing, Joint repairs and Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Repairs in various locations along interstate highway network. As an example of the locations that could result from this contract are I-70, I-95, I-195, I-795, I-83, I-695, MD 695 and MD 295. The following are potential locations which may be including in this contract. 1) Segments of I-83 from MD-137 to PA Line. 2) Segments of I-695 from US-1 (SW Blvd.) to MD-372. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. MDOT - Call Order 103 - Patching and Resurfacing on Various Interstate Routes in Baltimore County *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
