Description | Project Identification: Central Building District Office Renovations. 1. Project Location: 6300 Walker Street, St. Louis Park, MN 55426. Project Description: Project consists of renovation to existing Central community center building into district office space and conference rooms. F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). BID SECURITY A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. B. Bid security shall be provided as cash deposit, certified check on a responsible bank in the State of Minnesota, or a bidder's bond. 1. Bid security shall be made payable to Independent School District #283. A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. 1. Work is to begin on the following Dates: a. Construction Commences: November 14, 2022. 2. Project is to reach Substantial Completion by the following Date: April 7, 2023. A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. A. Bids are subject to approval by School Board. Board will consider award of Contract at regular meeting per the following: 1. Board Meeting Date: October 25, 2022. 2. Time: 7:00 p.m., local time. 3. Location: St. Louis Park High School, 6425 West 33rd Street, St. Louis Park, MN 55426 Room 350. A. Written requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents and Substitution Requests shall reach the Architect by the date indicated below. 1. Date: October 3, 2022; Final addendum to Bidders to be issued on October 5,2022. |
