Streets Division - New Jersey Avenue (South 13th Street to Wildwood Drive) - City of Sheboygan

Strategic Plan Focus Area(s): Quality of Life, Infrastructure and Public Facilities, Economic Development, Neighborhood Revitalization. Paser Rating - 6. AADT (2011 and 2017) - 3,800 to 6,300. The section of roadway was constructed with concrete between 1965 and 1987. Portions received asphalt overlay in 1997 and 2006. This project would remove existing asphalt and replace with three inches of new asphalt. The related storm sewer and curb and gutter will be evaluated for upgrades. This project will include reconstruction of sidewalk ramps to meet ADA requirements. As of February 21, 2023, this project is currently in the City of Sheboygan 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Funding for this project is allotted in the City's Capital Improvement Plan for construction FY 2025. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
