Description

The work covered in this solicitation includes: 1) The removal of accumulated sludge deposits and associated debris from Cell #1 of the Ozark Northeast Lagoon Wastewater Treatment Facility, 2) hauling the sludge to a disposal site selected and secured by the Contractor, and 3) land application of the sludge on the disposal site or disposed in the landfill. Land application shall consist of applying the sludge to the site, incorporation, injection or other approved application method for vector attraction reduction and any required reporting to ADEM and/or other regulating authority. All land application work shall be performed in accordance with EPA Part 503 Regulations and ADEM Administration Code Chapter 335-13-16. All sludge applied to the land shall be injected or incorporated within six (6) hours and shall be applied at a rate not to exceed agronomic rates for nitrogen or phosphorus.
