Description | Tooele County is requesting proposals from a qualified company to provide Construction Management and General Contract Services for Phase I of the Master Plan for the Deseret Peak Complex. Be responsible for the construction management and general contracting of Phase I of the Master Plan build at the Deseret Peak Complex in accordance with Think Architecture and Tooele County. Coordinate weekly owner's and architect's meetings on site for progress updates and coordination. Provide a guaranteed maximum price for all work outlined in the construction documents. Provide County with post construction activities including but not limited to, as built documentation, warranty inspections, GPS'd locations of key underground utilities, junction boxes, irrigation valves, etc. Solicit and evaluate all sub-contract bids. Provide recommendations and bids of all subcontractors to County and Think after bid-solicitation as to which sub-contractors are recommended. County and Think, in consultation with the Offeror, will make subcontractor decisions. Change order review and control. Any and all sub-contractors are to provide all labor, tools, equipment, permits, engineering, plans, and any and all other costs necessary to the design, layout, and construction. Offeror shall be responsible to ensure that all personnel proposed under this RFP are qualified through, training, experience, and appropriate certification for the tasks assigned and shall have a working knowledge of the task to be performed. Ability to work with other contractors as needed i.e. playground contractors. Due to policy, Tooele County will be purchasing large structures and it will be offerors responsibility to work with installers or install the structures. Large structures can include playgrounds, pavilions, shade structures, bathrooms, storage buildings, etc. Questions Due Sept 15, 2023 @ 5pm Tooele County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted or make modifications to the scope of work, subject to appropriate negotiation. This RFP does not constitute any form of offer to contract. Tooele County will not pay any costs incurred by the proposer in preparing or submitting the proposal. |
