RFQ Design - Jonas Ridge Convenience / Recycling Center and Jonas Ridge Cranberry Nature Park

The Burke County Community Development Department is inviting qualified design and engineering firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications for the design of the new Jonas Ridge Convenience/Recycling Center and Cranberry Bog Nature Park. Burke County is soliciting qualification statements for a firm to conduct two site assessments and full-service landscape architecture/design services associated with a new convenience site and an eco-park for the County. Burke County has been renting land for a convenience center at Jonas Ridge for many years but has recently entered into an agreement with Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina to purchase land for a new convenience center and an adjoining cranberry bog park. All questions can be directed to scott.carpenter@burkenc.org. The project should take approximately five months to complete and must be completed by July 1, 2020. Burke County reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
