Description

Wildlife Perimeter Fence Rehabilitation - Phase I at the Davidson County Airport Envelopes containing proposals must be sealed and addressed to Mr. John Gray, Chairman - Airport Authority, Davidson County Airport, 1673 Aviation Way, North Carolina 27292. Envelopes must be marked as follows: "Wildlife Perimeter Fence Rehabilitation- Phase I" with contractor's license number. The last day for questions is Friday, November 19, 2021 All Contractors are hereby notified that they shall have proper Contractor's licenses as required by the state laws governing their respective trade in the state where this Project is located. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or by a certified check payable to Davidson County Airport Authority, Lexington, North Carolina, and drawn on some bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of North Carolina, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond are required. All bids will be awarded by the Davidson County Airport Authority No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the closing time for the receipt of bids. The Barnwell Regional Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technical defects in the execution of the submission of any bid. The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Cut-off date for receipt of bidders' questions requiring written response and possible addendum clarifications will be 5:00 PM, Friday, November 19, 2021.
