Description | Galbreath Hall is the home of the college’s School of Science, Technology and Health Studies. The building is approximately 86,843 gsf in size, constructed in 1964, is in generally good condition but has not undergone a major renovation. Galbreath Hall is an existing L-shaped one-story building with a partial basement below the north wing of the building. Numerous elevational changes within the building and outdated restrooms facilities render the building ADA inaccessible. The building was constructed with a series of large high-bay specialized shop spaces once housing automotive and agricultural technology, the building also includes CAD labs, welding lab, machine shop, general computer and classrooms, faculty offices and the campus mailroom and print shop. The scope of the project will address ADA compliance issues, upgrade selected academic spaces and upgrade or replace building infrastructure systems addressing critical maintenance deficiencies under a partial renovation approach in an occupied building. |
