Asbestos Removal, Bldg. 1087

1.The Contractor shall remove some asbestos flooring in Bldg 1087. Details are listed below. 2. See the attached floor plan. It shows the dimensions and room layout for Bldg 1087. Bldg 1087 is about 81' x 76' in size. 3. The rooms that have numbers will be part of this project. The rooms that are marked with the letter “X” will not be part of this project. 4. Rooms 4, 6, 9, and 10 do not have any existing carpet. All the other rooms have carpet. 5. Room 5 has a chain-link cage in it. Remove the cage and set it aside. Do not reinstall it. See the attached picture of the cage. 6. Remove and dispose the existing carpet, padding, and wall base in all the rooms that have carpet. 7. There is existing green floor tile in all of the rooms. It is beneath the carpet in the rooms that have carpet. It is exposed in the rooms that don’t have carpet. The tile and glue contain asbestos. Remove the tile and glue in all the rooms
