Processing of Recyclables

Two-year contract, with three (3) one-year renewal options executed at the discretion of the Director of Public Works, for the transportation, processing and marketing of single stream recyclable material. The recyclable material will be collected from the City of Cleveland's opt-in curbside recycling program, drop off recycling program, City facilities, and from various noncity/community recyclers. The single stream recyclable material will consist of, but not limited to the following: Cardboard Plastic bottles and jugs Aluminum and metal cans Paper Glass During the duration of this contract, the City of Cleveland is open to working with the selected vendor to expand accepted plastic commodities through the single-stream recycling programs based on market demand and stability and ability to communicate changes to program participants.
