2020 Road Program

Work consists of cold recycled bituminous base course, installation of paving fabric, roadway leveling and a 2.0" overlay (approximately (10,000 S.Y.) and associated prep work for overlay of the Old Trail from York Haven Road (382) to Sheepbridge Road. 1.Maintenance and Protection of Traffic. The contractor will be able to close the Old Trail road to local traffic from York Haven Road to Sheepbridge Road. The road must be re-opened at the end of each workday. 2.Adjustment of all vent boxes, gas, water and utility valve covers and sanitary and storm sewer manholes to finished grade. Adjustment rings shall be provided and in stalled under this contract. 3.Cold Recycled Bituminous Base Course 5” Depth 4.Milling of driveways and access drives. 5.Application of bituminous tack coat on all pavement. 6.Application of Leveling Course 7.Application of Mirafi MPV600 Nonwoven Geotextile fabric. Must provide two (2) 12’ wide passes with 4” minimum overlap. 8.Application of 2” Superpave Wearing Course, 12.5mm 9.Bituminous sealing of structures, longitudinal and transverse joints. 10.Application of new pavement markings noted on the plans at locations designated by the Engineer 11.Cleaning of roadway after completion.
