Description | North Country Family Health Center is seeking to construct an addition to expand their existing Outpatient Primary Care Clinic. The building is located in downtown Watertown, New York. Expanding patient services is the main goals of this project. The new Primary Care addition consists of (6) new patient exam spaces which will be located on the main floor in a single-story wood-framed addition and will be readily accessible from the existing circulation paths in the building. One of these new exam rooms will be designated as Airborne Infection Isolation (AII) space and an existing exam will also be converted to AII function. A new drive-up testing area with covered canopy will be provided off the east side of the addition to facilitate isolation for COVID and other respiratory testing. Other main floor renovations will be performed to provide ancillary spaces such as provider offices, clean holding and a stat lab. Additional renovations will take place in the basement to convert former record storage space into new administrative offices. A secondary goal of the project is to update exterior building finishes, address deferred maintenance concerns, replace windows with more energy efficient units and generally upgrade the overall appearance of the facility. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. On the south side of the building, a new entrance vestibule has been planned to create a new face for the building along Arsenal Street |
