Description The project consists of providing all supervision, labor, tools, equipment and any other incidentals necessary for the replacement five (5) sections of the roof indicated on the drawing. Set up equipment, materials, safety lines at all roof perimeters and ground loading/dumpster area. Provide a moisture scan to identify any wet insulation in the existing system to satisfy the manufacturer's requirements for warranty. Inspect insulation. If the insulation is found to be wet or damaged, the insulation will be removed and replaced with new insulation. Any metal decking that is damaged will be replaced. The existing metal coping is to remain in place and be reused in new roof system. The existing drains are to be reused in new roof system. If one or more drains cannot be reused they will be replaced. Remove and dispose of existing TPO membrane (section 3 & 4) walkpads, flashings, terminations, gravel stop parapet edge metal and thru wall scupper inserts. Install a 1/2” layer of extruded polystyrene with mechanical fasteners to current manufactures specifications. (Section 1, 2, & 5 only) Install new .060 white TPO mechanically fastened membrane system with heat welded seams in accordance with manufacture's specification and details. Install associated penetration, curb flashings and perimeter flashings as required by the manufacturer. Membrane to turn up all walls and be mechanically terminated at the base of existing metal coping with prefinished surface mounted counter flashing. (Section 3 & 4) Membrane to wrap walls on sections 1, 2 & 5 prior to new gravel stop being installed. Custom fabricate and install new 24 gauge prefinished gravel stop edge metal on outer parapet perimeter edge (color to be selected by owner from standard color chart). Provide slip sheets for gas line supports. Provide manufacturer's 15-year labor and materials warranty.
