Final Effluent Pump No. 5 Rebuild at South Shore Water Reclamation Facility

The project consists of rebuilding Final Effluent Pump No. 5 at the South Shore Water Reclamation Facility. The scope of work shall include the following:.. Disconnect and remove the right angle drive and external heat exchanger from the pump mounting plate. Remove the pump from the wet well in its entirety. Ship the pump to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to perform the rebuild scope as defined in Specification Section 3.0 of this Contract. Install the rebuilt pump in the wet well and connect discharge flange with new flange gaskets. Install the right angle drive to the pump and the drive shaft to the right angle drive and motor. The Contractor shall follow the manufacturer's alignment specifications for installation. Reconnect the lubrication oil heat exchanger and oil lines. Complete 7-day test run. Complete all other work described in the specifications and as necessary to complete the project. The Owner has a goal of 20% participation by small, women and minority business enterprises for this contract.
