Description | For the construction of Village Hall Renovation PROJECT is for renovation and improvements to the existing Sauk City Municipal Building located at 726 Water Street, Sauk City, Wisconsin. Exterior improvements include EPDM reroofing, new mansard roofing, a new entrance facade feature, some new windows, elevated riverside deck, and other associated site improvements. The interior remodeling is focused to the 5,000 SF upper floor with new flooring, ceilings and partitions to create a new lobby space, restroom and Village Board Room and other associated building improvements. The Village administration operations will relocate to the lower floor during construction and public access to that area shall be maintained. PROPOSED SCHEDULE is as follows: Project Award is scheduled for February 14, 2023, and Final Completion by December 2023. PLANHOLDERS LIST will be updated interactively on our web address at portal under Bids. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Carter Arndt, 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913. The bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. Performance and Payment Bonds for the full contract amount shall be required from the successful Bidder after award. Prequalification of bidders will not be required. Bidders to whom award of a Contract is under consideration shall submit to Architect, upon request, a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualifications Statement. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
