Description

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) proposes making upgrades to the Wasilla Creek Headwaters Trail within the Matanuska Valley Moose Range. The trail improvements are needed to relocate an illegal trail, so that an authorized trail crossing is available across Wasilla Creek and wetland and stream impacts are avoided. The project area begins on the Wasilla Creek Headwaters Trail, which is the main trail traversing the southwest portion of the Matanuska Valley Moose Range. Contractor shall apply for a Traffic Control Permit from the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Permit Center prior to commencing work affecting traffic on Borough roads, and the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities prior to beginning any work affecting traffic on Palmer-Fishhook Road.
