Government Center Rehabilitation - 301-706 - City of Foster City

This project will improve the interior of the City Hall building (610 Foster City Boulevard). The renovation consists of office partition modifications and supplemental HVAC and heating alterations to support the new interior office configurations. Three (3) proposals were received for the design renovation of the interior cubicle spaces and selection of a consultant is underway. The scope of the project previously included improvements to the building exterior and modifications to the fountains at City Hall. Due to the differing types of expertise required to complete these improvements, the exterior renovations will be identified as a separate project. Project Timeline: Design: FY 2022-2023 Construction: FY 2023-2024 This project is included in the City of Foster City's FY 2023-2024 Budget Document. Per the owner, as of July 21, 2023, this project is for furniture services, not a public works construction project. The owner states that this was awarded to Sam Clar Inc. on June 20, 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
