Description | All questions are to be directed to the Construction Manager. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is requested. All questions must be in writing and sent to Chad Johnson chad.johnson@christmanco.com, no later than Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 2:00pm. If bidders do not wish to furnish a bid bond, bid security may also be submitted in the form of certified check, cashiers' check, or money order. If submitting bid security in one of these forms: Physical securities must be received by the Construction Manager prior to the date and time bids are due. Physical securities must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled 2023 DCS BP1A ______ Proposal (populate company name in the blank) Bid Security. Physical securities must be delivered to the Construction Manager at the following address: The Christman Company Attn: Chad Johnson Fisher Building Suite 2600 3011 West Grand Boulevard Detroit, MI 48202-3030 9. The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts by the Owner. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance within 30 days after award of contracts. 10. All proposals submitted shall remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal, which, in their opinion, will serve their best interest. 11. Post bid interviews will be scheduled for the week of February 27, 2023. Bidders must have availability for an interview during those weeks. Bidders must submit the Qualification Statement and a complete audited or reviewed Financial Statement with Accountants Report and Footnotes to be considered for qualification. |
