Yamhill County 2023 Overlay Project

The work will consist of temporary traffic control, cold plane, pre-level, and placing hot mix asphaltic concrete on various county roads located in Yamhill County, Oregon. All Traffic Control, Cold Plane, installation of YC provided riser rings, placement of pre-levels, base lift and overlays of Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete, and temporary lane markings. The Board of Commissioners, Yamhill County, reserves the right to waive minor informalities and to reject any or all bids that do not comply with prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the bidders responsibility under ORS279C.375(3)(b), or if Yamhill County finds that it is in the public interest to do so. If the County has insufficient funds to pay the cost of all the basic project segments, the County shall determine which road segments will be completed to match the funding. QUESTIONS DUE March 1st, 2023 Place a 2 inch Level II Asphaltic Concrete Pavement on the existing paved surface of: o 1. Moores Valley Road, Olive St to Puddy Gulch o 2. Gopher Valley Road, Beaver Creek to end of gravel, including 320' of Beaver Creek. o 3. Whiteson Road, Hwy 99 to Amity-Dayton Hwy o 4. Christensen Road, Bellevue Hwy to 2021 Chip Seal o 5. Red Hills Road, Hwy 240 to Sunnycrest o 6. Bald Peak, Albertson Road to Kings Grade Road Place Two 1.5 inch lifts of Level III Asphaltic Concrete Pavement on: o 7. Westside Road, Poverty Bend to Meadowlake Road (This work is identified as night work - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Place Two 2 inch lifts of Level II Asphaltic Concrete Pavement on: o 8. Deer Creek Park Road, Gopher Valley Road to Park (873' x 12') o 9. Portion of Beaver Creek, beyond bridge (100' x 16.5') 1. Provide Traffic Control, signage, pilot car if required 2. Place Pre-level AC where directed. 3. Provide Cold Plane areas as noted 4. Place Tack coat (Incidental to AC) 5. Place 2.0" ACP Overlay over existing asphalt 6. Place 3.0" ACP Overlay over existing asphalt 7. Place 2 nd 2.0" lift where required 8. Provide Temporary Lane Markings 9. Grade adjust MH's, WV's and Monument boxes w/ YC provided risers. 10. All 2 or 3 inch Cold plane transverse cuts to be vertical, not rolled from a drum cut. All work to be done under the contract shall be commenced no sooner than May 15th, 2023, and shall be completed no later than August 15th, 2023.
