Description

As of 12/02/2022 They do not have an anticipated start date/end date yet. For furnishing all labor and materials, and performing all work described as follows: Moulton Water System SCADA Improvements The project consists of SCADA Distribution System Improvements. The project is funded by a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan (DWSRF FS010193-02) through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM). Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations are required. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, proof of insurance, and a complete list of subcontractors and suppliers will be required prior to the signing of the Contract. A Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract costs and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract cost in the form and terms approved by City of Moulton will be required at the signing of the contract. In addition, the Contractor must furnish to City of Moulton at the time of the signing of the contract a certificate of insurance coverage as provided in the specifications. The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of said Contract. No bids will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly qualified to submit a bid for this construction in accordance with all applicable laws of the State of Alabama. This shall include evidence of holding a current license from the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama, as required by Chapter 8 of Title 34, of the Code of Alabama, 1975. In addition, non-residents of the State, if a corporation, shall show evidence of having qualified with the Secretary of State to do business in the State of Alabama. The bidder shall show evidence by clearly displaying the current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the bid is delivered. In addition, bids shall be clearly identified on the exterior of the package with the bidders name, address, the name of the project being bid, and time and place of the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical errors if the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted. All bids received after the date and time of the bid opening noted above will be returned unopened
