The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is firmly committed to the formation of a partnering relationship with the Contractor, all subcontractors, suppliers, FHWA representatives; where appropriate, other federal agencies, local government officials, utilities representatives, law enforcement and public safety officials, consultants, and other stakeholders to effectively and efficiently manage and complete each construction or maintenance contract to the mutual and individual benefits and goals of all parties.
