SUMMARY OF WORK - Work will consist of construction of the Fort Walton Beach Landing Improvements, including a new boardwalk, parking lots, grading, drainage, curbs, sanitary, potable water, amphitheater, entry canopy, and other ancillary improvements necessary to the completion of this project. 5.1.1 The work will be divided into a base bid and bid alternates as shown in the construction plans. See EXHIBITS E1, F1 and G1 for plans and EXHIBITS E2, F2, G2 for technical specifications. 5.2 SCOPE OF WORK 5.2.1 The Bidder shall be responsible for obtaining and paying for all necessary local and state licenses and permits. A City Business Tax Receipt is required. 5.2.2 The Bidder will be required to deliver all equipment, piping, fittings, and other materials to the location of installation. Care shall be exercised in handling all materials and equipment, and the Bidder will be held responsible for all breakage or damage to same. Material and equipment may be delivered to places that will not interfere with other construction operations and unloaded or yarded and distributed as required, at the Bidder's discretion. 5.2.3 Schedule - Prior to commencement of any work activity, the Bidder shall submit to the City an estimated construction schedule promptly after execution and delivery of the contract and before the first partial payment is made. The schedule shall show the anticipated dates of construction commencement and completion of each of the various types of work required. As a part of the construction schedule, the Biddershall also furnish a detailed estimate giving a complete breakdown of lump sum items in the contract, and periodic itemized estimates of work for the purpose of making partial payments thereon
