2022 Paving Road Program

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lower Mt Bethel Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%)( ) percent of the bid made payable to Washington Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All work must be completed by August 19, 2022; liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $975.00 per day for each day beyond these dates that the work remains incomplete. The Washington Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or/ all proposals p or portions thereof, and to delete projects and/or/ portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. PA Prevailing Wages apply.
