Inspection and Redevelopment of Public Drinking Water Wells

To complete the inspection and redevelopement of three (3) public drinking water gravel pack wells. The Town has three gravel pack public drinking water wells to be inspected and redeveloped: Turnpike Well 2 Contoocook W ell Squantum Well Drilled 2006 Drilled 1977 Drilled 2007 60 feet total Depth 60 feet total Depth 32 feet total Depth Pump Suction at 44 feet Pump Suction at 50 feet Pump set at 23 feet Gravel Pack Well Data: Turnpike Well 2 is a 16-inch diameter gravel pack well approximately 60 feet deep with 14 feet of and 0.050" slot screen. The 2008 capacity was 17.65 gpm/ft and pumped at 350 GPM. Contoocook Lake Well is a 16-inch diameter gravel pack well approximately 59.5 feet deep with 10 feet of 90-slot screen. The 1977 specific capacity was 23 gpm/ft and pumped at 608 GPM. Squantum Road Well is a 12-inch diameter gravel pack well approximately 32.20 feet deep with 5 feet Of 0.125" slot screen. The 2007 specific capacity was 39.17 gpm/n and pumped at 325 GPM.
