Description

The contract period is from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. This is an asneeded service agreement to provide emergency deep well repairs on an on call basis. CR Water is seeking a contractor to provide repair services for multiple consecutive years. Therefore, the contract agreement will include an option to be renewed for up to two additional one-year terms. An increase of up to 5% of the total contract price will be allowed for each year the contract is renewed. A qualified well service contractor is to provide all labor and materials needed to complete the tasks as specified in the Scope of Work listed below. The proposals and bids will be evaluated based on the perceived effectiveness of the proposed repair solutions, historical success of repair projects, and the value of the work provided. Therefore the project will not necessarily be awarded to the low bidder. The contractor will provide emergency maintenance on-call support for all CR Water’s deep groundwater wells. The contractor is responsible for providing all tools, equipment, and labor need to complete the work. The contractor must respond onsite within 24 hours. The types of work include: Conduct maintenance support administration and project management Provide written reports for services and repairs Provide well pump troubleshooting and repairs Provide Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) troubleshooting and repairs Pull and reinstall well pump, motor, drop piping, and electrical cabling Conduct well repairs Provide well video recording, report and VFD production Provide well baling and brushing Provide storage and delivery services Provide temporary loaner pumps, motors, and VFDs as needed Conduct well startups Conduct well disinfections
