Description | Pella Community School District - Early Childhood Center Early Sitework - Bid Package #31 - Grading Bid Package #32 - Concrete Paving Target dates: start work July 15 th , 2022, complete work November 1st, 2022. Project documents governing the proposed work have been prepared by Neumann Monson. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to the Bid, guaranteeing faithful performance of the Contract. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty [60] business days after the date and hour set for opening of bids. The Pella Community School District Board of Education will meet in the Library at the High School, 212 East University St., Pella, IA 50219 on June 23rd, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. for a hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated total cost. A public hearing will be conducted at a meeting to be held in the Library at the High School, 212 East University St., Pella, IA 50219 on June 23rd, 2022, at 4:35 p.m., for a hearing on bid results and award recommendations. The award of the contract may be made by the Pella Community School District to any responsive, responsible bidder or bidders offering suitable supplies, equipment and/or service at the lowest price taking into consideration the quality of material or service in the best interest of the Pella Community School District. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract as shall be deemed in the best interest of the Pella Community School District. Deposit checks will be refunded if documents are returned to Iowa Reprographics within fourteen (14) days after the bid due date. Checks are to be made out to Iowa Repro. PN - B2202684 |
