Decatur Correctional Center Replace Boiler Burners

The scope of work is to complete the asbestos abatement of the remaining systems in the mechanical room. In addition, replace three 350 horsepower low pressure steam boilers, replace 9 steam isolation valves in the main steam header, replace the primary and bypass steam control valves, replace the two boiler feedwater pumps, replace the condensate receiver tank, provide a means for continuous domestic hot water, attempt to maintain one operational boiler (or at least minimize downtime) at all times. New equipment will be integrated into the existing Carrier building control system. Existing electrical disconnect switches at each boiler shall be removed and replaced. New wiring will be connected from the new disconnect switches to the new boilers.
