Description

Work is to provide full architectural and engineering services for the Project to Renovate the Specialty Pharmacy located on Quarterback Tower 4th Floor. enovate the 4th floor of Quarterback Tower to support current and future growth of specialty and retail pharmacy services in UAB Specialty Pharmacy. On Quarterback Tower 4th floor, space previously utilized as office and conference space has been relocated; the vacated space will be used to expand pharmacy operations. The renovation will provide: additional drug storage, additional staff workstations, additional shipping and receiving stations and additional storage area for shipping materials and other needed supplies. A significant amount of space is required due to the stringent requirements for drug storage and cold chain distribution. The project will renovate approximately 5,000 square feet of space. The project will have to be delivered in multiple phases, and the Pharmacy will have to stay in operation while the renovations occur.
