This work consists of installing a cellular concrete interlocking erosion control grid system in accordance with the requirements of this specification and to the line, grade and dimensions shown on the plans, or as directed by the Engineer. Undersealing concrete pavement shall consist of placing a polyurethane foam mixture beneath existing concrete pavement at the locations shown in the plans, or directed by the Engineer. The intent of the undersealing process is to lift, underseal, and fill the voids under existing concrete pavement, or bridge end slabs. When raising concrete pavement/slabs, care shall be taken to assure that the final elevation of the concrete pavement/slab is aligned vertically with the adjacent and surrounding pavement. A pre-bid meeting will be held in the Commission Room on the 1 st Floor of the MDOT Administration Building in Jackson, at 2:00 P.M. on the day preceding the date of the bid opening.
