Description

The objective of the project is to rehabilitate and upgrade the aging HVAC and mechanical equipment throughout buildings in the Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant. Work includes replacing HVAC air handling units, supply and exhaust fans, laboratory fume hoods and laboratory exhaust fans; adding new air conditioning and ventilation; converting sluice gate electric actuators to hydraulic; replacing doors and roofing; installing fall protection; replacing low pressure air valves in the mixed liquor channel; implementing a new building management (BMS) system; replacing heating hot water and chilled water piping, domestic water heater and vacuum system; replacing roof drains and piping; and installing weir washer for clarifiers. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
