| Description | North Temple Street, from Sabattus Street to Old Greene Road: Water Main Replacement Scope: Replace approximately 3,400 linear feet of twelve (12) inchdiameter water with new eight (8) inch water main. This shall include replacing three (3) hydrants, 600 linear feet of service connections, and installing base/subbase gravel within the water main trenches. Storm Drain Installation Scope: Install approximately 1,100 linear feet of six (6) and twelve (12) inch diameter underdrain/storm drain. This shall include installing six (6) catch basins and installing base and subbase gravel within the storm drain trenches. Roadway Rehabilitation and Sidewalk Reconstruction Scope: Rehabilitate approximately3,400 linear feet of roadway and 2,600 linear feet of sidewalk as follows: Lower and plate all manholes and catch basins as needed prior to removing pavement. Remove existing pavement, fine grade, and add shim gravel as needed. Place 2.5” 19mm HMA base. Reconstruct bituminous sidewalk with slipform concrete curb. Set utilities to grade. Install new manhole and catch basin frame and covers/grates where noted. Grind butt joints as needed. Place 12.5mm HMA surface at 1.5” depth. Perform driveway preparation as needed. Perform lawn, driveway and shoulder follow up as needed. Old Greene Road, from North Temple Street to Peter Boulevard: Water Main Replacement Scope: Replace approximately 1,550 linear feet of six (6) inch diameter water with new eight (8) inch water main. This shall include replacing one (1) hydrant and 540 linear feet of service connections, and installing base/subbase gravel and 19mm HMA base within the water main trenches. Roadway Resurfacing Scope: Resurface approximately 1,600 linear feet of roadway as follows: Grind butt joints and mill 1.5” pavement surface. Repair pavement sections and shim roadway with 12.5 mm HMA, as needed. Set utilities to grade. Install new manhole and catch basin frame and covers/grates where noted. Place 12.5 mm HMA Fine Surface pavement at 1.5” depth. | ||||||||||
