U.B. Kinsey/Palmview ES Roof Replacement

SCOPE A Re-Roofing of approximately 13,000 gross square feet at building #4 as per design specifications. All roof work to be installed in compliance with the District Master Specifications and Manufacturers’ requirements. Description of work includes, but not limited to: Remove shingles, underlayment, flashings and metals down to the existing plywood . Install new 1.5" Expanded Polystyrene Insulation (EPS) insulation screwed through existing plywood into existing metal deck . Install new 5/8" CDX plywood (one side veneer grade “C” and one side veneer grade “D”). Install new asphalt shingle roof system. Furnish & install new 6" wide strip of peel and stick over all plywood joints. Remove existing 7” x 7” gutters and replace with new 7”x 7” box gutters. Remove existing 4” x 5” downspouts and replace with new 4” x 5” downspouts. Reconnect to storm drainage system. Provide new downspout boot at PVC lateral. Minor stucco repair/painting associated with demolition. Furnish and install a complete new lightning protection system on Building #4. Work schedule is based on afternoon / evening working hours SCOPE B Inspect existing plywood, fascia and subfascia. Replace approximately 2,000 s.f. of plywood and/or wood, and insulation where moisture or deterioration is found.
