Milepost district item no. N/a n/a southcentral Local The proposed project is located in Pinal County along Marsh Road, from Indian Valley Road to Midway Road. The project is approximately 1.06 miles in length. The work consists of constructing a paved roadway over the existing dirt road. The new paved roadway will be 28 wide with no graded shoulders on each side of the road. This will include a full depth pavement structural section. The work includes roadside ditches, minor drainage improvements, seeding, signing and pavement marking, and other related items. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 135 calendar days. The Arizona Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The minimum contract-specified goal for participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in the work, as a percentage of the total amount bid, shall be 12.47. All labor employed on this project shall be paid in accordance with the minimum wage rates shown in the General Wage Decision. These rates have been determined in accordance with the requirements of the law and issued by the Secretary of Labor for this project. This contract is subject to the provisions of Arizona Revised Statutes Section 42-5075 -- Prime contracting classification; exemptions; definitions. A Proposal Guaranty in the Form of Either a Certified or a Cashier's Check Made Payable to the State Treasurer of Arizona for Not Less Than 10 Percent of the Amount of the Bid or in the Form of a Surety (Bid) Bond for 10 Percent of the Amount of the Bid Shall Accompany the Proposal.
