| Description | The contractor shall install electrified animal fence around yard equipment and control house at Substation #1. Contractor shall install electrical connection from animal fence to AC panels inside building 1281. Areas are specified below in Figure 1. Contractor must follow NAVFAC SOP PWBL.003 RevA “Working On or Near Exposed Energized Electrical Systems”. The Contractor shall document in their proposal that all technicians performing work on this project shall have at least three years of experience working in and around electric distribution equipment. It should be noted that system voltages present in the substation include 69kV,15KV as well as low voltage. |
