Playground Equipment at Three Sites

This proposal will be for equipment designed for ages 2-5 years at each site. The equipment is to be delivered and installed at the 3 locations listed above. Designs at each site should contain various age appropriate climbing, sliding, and imaginative activities on the base structure along with free-standing natural looking elements and shade features to create an outdoor learning environment with a natural feel. All applicable safety guidelines from the ASTM and CPSC should be met at each site. .Bell-Whitley Head Start is contracting with a local provider to deliver and install engineered hardwood fiber at all 3 sites after installation has taken place. Safety surfacing is not part of this request. However, respondents are to provide 12” tall plastic retaining borders for each of the 3 areas. Removal and disposal of the existing playground equipment at each site is necessary to complete the project. Respondents are to include removal and disposal of the existing equipment, safety surfacing, and retaining borders along with their proposal.
